Job summary

Murray GM Fort St. John is seeking an Automotive Detailer to professionally clean and detail customer and company vehicles. The role covers interior and exterior work, including pressure washing, buffing and polishing, with attention to safety and quality standards.

The position requires driving responsibility, a valid BC driver’s license, and a willingness to work in a team-driven environment with a flexible schedule. Salary is hourly at $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior detailing to Murray GM quality standards.
• The use of a variety of hand tools including vacuum, shampooing machine, pressure washer.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, wheels, and rims.
• Clean car interiors including upholstery, apply leather cleaning products, mats.
• Mixing cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions.
• Operate cleaning equipment or machines with precaution and in a safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment.
• Notify the supervisor of any repairs or replacements needed.
• Accomplish goals and deadlines as set out by management.
• Other Duties as assigned, including helping other departments with tasks.

Automotive Detailer Pay Rate: $19 - 19 per hour Murray GM Fort St. John

POSITION SUMMARY

The Automotive Detailer position is responsible for interior and exterior cleaning of customer and company vehicles. Job duties include pressure washing, buffing, and polishing the exterior, interior and undercarriage; vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing interiors and floor mats. The detailing bay works on a scheduled/appointment basis and employees will need to be able to work with the team to deliver quality work in a tight time frame.

This position will include the use of tools such as pressure washers, and includes the use of hazardous cleaning materials. Training for the safe and effective use of these tools and materials will be provided to all employees.

The Detailing department is open Monday through Saturday. As this position involves driving customer and company vehicles, a valid Drivers Licence and a clean driver's abstract are required for the position.

The Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
