Job description

Bayfield Ford Lincoln is looking for a 2nd Year Apprentice or Licensed 310S Technician to join their team in Barrie.

Our Automotive Service Technicians are an integral part of our day-to-day business. The Apprentice or Licensed Technician is responsible for skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles.

The Apprentice will work toward becoming a technical specialist who will learn to perform diagnostic and repair work in the context of technically demanding and complex tasks.

Compensation: Starting at $41 flat rate hourly for a Licensed Technician; depending on experience.

Job Duties

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair.
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
