Job summary

Northern Roads Auto Group is hiring an Automotive Apprentice & Lube Technician in Mississauga. You will perform routine maintenance, tire work, and assist senior technicians with inspections, diagnostics and repairs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years dealership experience. Applicants should be proficient with diagnostic software and tools, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and possess a valid G license. Open availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency.
Registered Automotive Apprentice with 1–2 years of car dealership experience.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair tools, software, and techniques.
Strong computer skills and the ability to use diagnostic software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or instructions.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid G Driver’s License and a clean abstract.
Ability to drive manual vehicles (an asset).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs at a time.
Open availability.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes and tire rotations.
Inspect tires for wear and assist with installation and balancing.
Assist licensed technicians with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
Complete work orders accurately and communicate additional needs.
Obtain and return parts as required.
Move and prepare vehicles for service and customer delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop and work area.
Follow dealership procedures and health and safety requirements.
Support the Service team with general shop duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
