NOTE : THIS ROLE WILL BE LOCATED IN BROOKS, AB

A SHIFT AND B SHIFT AVAILABLE

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

You Will

Assist plant production by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and providing support for electronics including the following :

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Calibrate and service Metal detectors and weighing scales
• Setup and do minor repairs on Foss meat analyzers
• Setup and repair numerous label printers and applicators
• Install, configure and repair Production data collection devices (scales, terminals, barcode scanners etc.)
• Install and terminate data communication cables
• Install and maintain CCTV cameras
• Install, calibrate and troubleshoot instruments

Required

Minimum college diploma related to instrumentation / electrical / electronic / automation.

Minimum 1 year of Automation technician experience will be an asset.

Knowledge on VFD, PLC, C++ programing & troubleshooting

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills as well as demonstrated problem solving skills.

Strong troubleshooting, programming and calibration skills.

Please note that Applicants will be asked to complete a pre-hire medical and drug and alcohol test. Any offer of employment to the Applicant will be conditional upon passing satisfactory completion of the medical and passing the drug and alcohol test.
