Job summary

Wipro Limited in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a QA Automation professional to lead manual and automated testing across APIs and integrations. The role requires hands-on experience with Java/Python, Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, and strong SQL/database validation skills.

You will work in a hybrid model 3–4 days from the office, coordinating with Jira/Confluence and Agile teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Java/Python, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation; experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Agile methodologies; ability to plan tests, execute test cases, track defects, and deliver high-quality releases.
• Strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft testing and API automation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases and document results; track defects and drive fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality releases.
• Perform MuleSoft testing and API automation to support integrations.
