Job summary

WITRON Logistik + Informatik GmbH in Cornwall, Ontario is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Production Team. You will clear system faults, monitor performance, and participate in daily improvement discussions to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a strong mechanical/technical aptitude, ability to work at heights, and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, nights and weekends as shifts require.

Qualifications

  • No specific technical education required but preferred.
  • Minimum High School Diploma with a noted preference for a post-secondary trades certificate in automation or maintenance/electrical/electronics fields.
  • Technically and mechanically inclined.
  • Practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks, concepts and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner using logical methods.
  • Respect established procedures and policies.
  • Adhere to fault escalation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area free from debris.
  • Return products/cases outside of automation to designated areas.
  • Monitor system performance and make note of operational status.
  • Provide feedback on system performance at handover meetings.
