Job summary

V2Soft is seeking a hardware test scripting engineer in Windsor, Ontario to join our engineering lab. You will develop and automate test scripts for hardware systems and validate CAN communication in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/EE, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in VB Script, MATLAB and Python. Strong documentation and time management are essential; Canadian work eligibility is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field


• Minimum 3 years of experience in test scripting and automation of hardware systems (excluding software application testing)


• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as VB Script, MATLAB, and Python


• Working knowledge of CAN communication


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail


• Excellent ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation


• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced lab environment


• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field


• Experience with AVL PUMA / LYNX scripting environments


• Experience using CAN tools such as Vector CANalyzer


• Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery systems and battery characterization


• Experience with battery pack testing or related system-level testing


• Demonstrated effort to stay current with advancements in test automation and data management technologies.
