Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is seeking an Electrical Engineering / Automation Technician in Laval, QC to improve reliability and performance of production equipment. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with long-term modernization and robotics projects.

The technician will support maintenance, diagnose electrical and automation issues, and develop permanent solutions while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to increase OEE and safety.

Qualifications

DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
Relevant manufacturing/industrial experience highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical troubleshooting and automation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Develop and implement improvement and automation projects to boost reliability and productivity.
Participate in robotics/automation projects and integration with suppliers.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement for downtime reduction.
Document modifications and training for maintenance and operations teams.
