Accenture is seeking a skilled control engineering professional to join our manufacturing and engineering practice in Canada. The role focuses on delivering automation and process control solutions within a manufacturing setting, collaborating with multinational teams to ensure efficient, reliable operations.

Key responsibilities include planning system specifications, developing design architectures, and delivering commissioning, validation, and start-up activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of plant processes in Process and Discrete Manufacturing to aid process control design.
• Experience in automation system design, software integration, commissioning, validation and start-up.
• Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Ignition).
• English required for multi-national teams in North America.

• Consolidate project requirements and lead or participate in client consultations.
• Identify and solve complex technical problems using data-driven analysis and innovative approaches.
• Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership.
• Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development.
• Develop standards, procedures, and documentation for projects.
• Deliver virtual commissioning/emulation, testing and simulation.
• Maintain and grow client relationships across engineering disciplines and identify new opportunities.
• Manage project resources and budgets as needed.

The work:

• Be responsible for the completion of all project requirements, including, but not limited to:
• Participate or lead internal and or customer consultations regarding field of expertise
• Identify, assess, and solve complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques.
• Develop proposals for business development opportunitiesand present to senior leadership at potential clients. Ability to turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives
• Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development
• Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use
• Delivery of virtual Commissioning /Emulation, Testing and Simulation
• Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities
• Mange the project resources and budgets when necessary

Here’s what you need:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Possess a basic understanding of plant processes in both Process and Discrete Manufacturing Industries to assist with the conceptual design of process control strategies for process modifications and plant expansions.
• Experience in automation system design, software integration, development, commissioning, validation, and start-up
• Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems, including Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, and Ignition, along with control system architecture.
• English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirement.

Nice to have:

• Experience with industrial robotics and robotic automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
