As an Analyst for our Automation team at the Senneville location, you will be accomplishing technical activities using robots, while following the instructions of the study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).


In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Execute the technical activities described in the procedures and study plans while respecting the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP);
  • Check the availability and prepare all required components related to its laboratory activities (literature, samples, solutions, material, equipment, etc.);
  • Compile appropriate data and present them properly, clear, readable and complete;
  • Ensure the technical understanding of their work and ensure the proper conduct of the studies by identifying potential problems, potential solutions and corrective measures;
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • AEC or DEC in Sciences;
  • Able to lift 20 pounds;
  • Able to work autonomously;
  • Experience working with robot is an asset (Beckman and Hamilton).


Role Specific Information:

  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary: $23 per hour with primes of :
    • Evenings: $2.50.
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Evening from 3PM to 10PM (possibility to start later and finish later if desired);
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
