Job description

• Provide application testing services in an agile environment.

• Provide automated test development services.

• Provide application testing services for on-premises and cloud-based applications.

• Review business requirements, user stories, bug logs and clarify any ambiguity ensuring testing conditions are understood.

• Track and report all defect status and ensure resolution of defects.

• Create and execute test plans and test cases.

• Identify and document software bugs and usability issues.

• Manage the bug list and backlogs to ensure bug accuracy, priority, status, and severity.

• Gather and manage test data.

• Evaluate outcomes of test cycles.

• Identify the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test.

• Track test results, statistics, metrics and status.

• Plan, document and lead user acceptance testing.

• Coordinate the test case execution with the different testers.

• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing dedicated application testing services, within the past seven (7) years (September 2018 to date), specifically on web-based software development projects.

• A minimum of one (1) year’s experience writing and executing automated UI and API tests for web-based software development projects.

• Agile web-based software development testing experience

• Experience deriving test cases from user stories, non-functional requirements and design documents.

• Experience executing tests across multiple test phases (i.e. system, integration, regression, and UAT).

• Experience executing cross-platform tests (e.g. across major browsers, iOS/Android), responsive design tests and accessibility tests (e.g., WCAG 2.0 compliance).

• Experience developing, executing and maintaining automated tests using modern frameworks such as Cypress.io (or equivalent).
