Arobas Personnel is looking for an Automated Quality Assurance Analyst – Playwright for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal.

*Remote : Hybrid- 2 days/week on site*

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications using Playwright and related tools.
• Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, and log defects.
• Build and maintain automation scripts for responsive web and/or mobile apps.
• Use Playwright for mobile viewport/device emulation.
• Implement BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Playwright-BDD, or Gherkin for feature-based testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using AWS and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure automated tests run on every commit or nightly build, with detailed reporting and feedback.
• Architect modular and maintainable Playwright frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Create reusable page objects, test utilities, and environment configurations for multilingual testing (EN/FR).
• Suggest process and tool improvements to enhance testing efficiency and stability.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Expertise with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong skills in JavaScript and Java.
• Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, Playwright-BDD, Gherkin).
• Proven ability to build scalable, modular BDD-aligned frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
• Solid understanding of Agile development processes.
• Ability to test REST APIs using Postman or Playwright’s API features.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with Splunk logs.
