• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes.
• I-CAR certification training and certification would be assets.

Your area of focus.

Our growing Collision Centre is looking for a Painter-Prepper to join our team. The individuals in this role are responsible for masking, prepping vehicles, and spraying paint.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Clean and inspect repair area prior to paint
• Apply masking tape and overspray protection
• Fill small defects, chips when necessary
• Final sanding to panels
• Wash and clean panels prior
• Spray UV or slow dry Primer’s
• Spray sealers, tints, and clear coats
• Use blowers and oven to complete coat.
• Demask and inspect finish
• Watersand / Polish when necessary.

What are the must-haves…

• Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair / refinishing processes & adherence to processes
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
• I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
