Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Autobody Technician.
  • Red seal certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Determine vehicle repair requirements and prepare cost estimates.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure repairs are functioning properly.
  • Mentor and support apprentices in the Collision Centre.

Edmonton, Alberta

Schedule : Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm

We are looking for an Autobody Technician to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in terms leveraging and expanding your technical expertise in vehicle repair by working directly with Estimators, experienced Collision Centre team members in a team effort to deliver exceptional customer experience service to our valued clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Determine vehicle repair requirements
  • Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed
  • Remove damaged parts and replace front-end components, body components, doors, frames and underbody components
  • Inspect vehicle to ensure the repairs functioning properly and the overall appearance of the completed work
  • Mentor, coach, train and support the development of apprentices in the Collision Centre

Requirements :

  • Red seal certification is an asset
  • 3 + years of experience as a Journeyman Autobody Technician
  • Completion of post-secondary program and training courses
  • I-CAR certification training and I-CAR welding certification
  • A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
