Job summary

Craftsman Collision is seeking a full-time Autobody Technician for our Walnut Grove location in Langley, BC. Earn from $30/hour to $35/hour flat rate, plus up to $3/hour in performance bonuses. Up to $10,000 signing bonus or relocation assistance within Canada.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of autobody repair experience.
• Proficiency in English; legal entitlement to work in Canada.
• Red Seal certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports and plan repair work.
• Clean and maintain workspace.
• Replace front end components, body panels, doors and frames.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects with appropriate tools.
• Inspect repaired vehicles and perform test drives for proper handling.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• Clean and maintain work space
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
• Repair or replace interior components
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
• Extended health
