Job summary

CSN Autotech in Lacombe, AB is seeking an Autobody Technician to join our repair team. You will apply OEM repair procedures, perform disassembly, masking, sanding, painting preparation, and collaborate to restore vehicles to showroom quality.

Journeyperson or Red Seal certification is required, with experience in using hand and power tools, heavy lifting, and delivering high-quality workmanship under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
• Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for repair work.
• Preparing vehicles for painting and masking/sanding prior to painting.
• Buffing and polishing of painted vehicles.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work under deadlines.

CSN Autotechis expanding their repair team in the Lacombe, ABarea. Join us as an Autobody Technician- where your skills will contribute to restoring vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction through quality repairs. In this position you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide top-notch automotive repair services.

We offer flat rate with the opportunity to earn an additional production bonus up to $3 per hour based on efficiency.

Overview/Responsibilities:

• Assisting with disassembly and the overall production and mentor other technicians.
• An understanding of vehicle systems and technology and the need to look up and follow OEM repair procedures as well as pre and post-scan of all vehicles and calibrate modules as necessary.
• A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
• A demonstrated positive, work ethic and take pride in delivering a quality repaired vehicle
• The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• The ability to perform equipment audits to check for acceptable performance and detect faults and possible malfunctions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently
• Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
• Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work.
• Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting.
• Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting.
• Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles.
• Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
