Job summary

Kal Tire in Squamish is seeking a Front Counter Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose products and services while keeping the process moving. This is a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Interest in automotive (tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is a asset).
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries.
• Prepare quotes, explain options clearly, and support sales decisions.
• Complete vehicle check-ins, including gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details.
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems.
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
