Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Auto Detailing Technician at Motorize Electric Vehicles & Detail Studio. The role will involve tasks related to auto detailing, car wash, paint polishing, glass cleaning, and vehicle readiness preparations.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, reach, and move for extended periods

Key Responsabilities

• Vehicle Cleaning and Washing:
• Perform exterior washing, including hand washing, pressure washing, and drying of vehicles.
• Clean wheels, tires, and undercarriages, ensuring removal of dirt, grime, and brake dust.
• Apply wax, sealants, or protective coatings as needed.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, dashboards, and consoles.
• Shampoo upholstery and carpets, and treat leather surfaces with appropriate conditioners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces for a streak-free finish.
• Perform paint correction, polishing, and ceramic coating applications as required.
• Remove minor scratches, swirl marks, and contaminants using clay bars or other techniques.
• Detail engine bays and other specialty areas with precision.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure all work meets Motorize’s quality standards.
• Address customer feedback promptly and professionally.
• Shop Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of cleaning supplies and tools.
• Assist with inventory management of detailing products and supplies.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
