Job summary

An auto repair company in Saint-Lin-Laurentides seeks an experienced auto body repairer. You will inspect and repair vehicles, plan repair work, and perform a range of tasks including replacing components and maintaining workspaces. A trades certificate and 3 years of experience in auto repairs are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect repaired vehicles.
• Plan repair work to be performed.
• Test drive vehicles for proper handling.
• Clean and maintain work space.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
