Job summary

Assured Automotive is seeking a Collision Repair Planner/Production Manager to coordinate vehicle repairs from intake to delivery. You will collaborate with technical teams, clients, and insurers to establish accurate repair strategies and schedules in a high-volume shop.

The role requires strong QA, customer focus, and leadership to maintain efficiency and quality as part of The Boyd Group family. A valid driver's license and experience with estimating software are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in collision repair estimating or similar role.
• Knowledge of estimating software Audatex and Mitchell.
• I-CAR Registered Gold Class or pursuing Gold Class.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Audit initial estimates and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Create final repair plans and production schedules.
• Diagnose collision damage and refinishing operations.
• Assign body technicians to jobs and coordinate parts/sublets.
• Complete appraisals and supplements within 24 hours.

This role involves active collaboration with technical teams, clients, and insurance partners to establish precise repair strategies and completion schedules. Success in this position requires maintaining rigorous quality standards while ensuring a professional and positive customer experience within a high-volume operational environment. Key requirements include the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.Key Job ResponsibilitiesAudits initial estimate and ensure compliance to Boyd Estimate Practice & Procedures. Conducts final repair plan meeting.Accurate diagnosis of the collision damage including structural and mechanical damage. Accurate diagnosis of refinishing operations. Communicates all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.Assigns body technician(s) to specific jobs as required.Orders parts & arranges sublet repairs with vendors when required for each RO. Completes appraisals and supplements as required within 24 hours of delivery.Ensures proper work flow throughout the collision center with the production supervisor. Communicates clearly the repair process, and addresses all questions to ensure client’s confidence.Maintains at least a 40% GP on all appraisals. Maintains a 50% Repair vs. Replace on all appraisals.Adheres to all required Insurance procedures, guidelines and programs. Utilizes daily insurance programs & tools (Progi/ APU/ ARMS/ ALLDATA /Progi Sync).Works with the production supervisor on any repair related concerns or supplements.Communicates updates with customers and insurance claims adjusters as required. Communicates and negotiates with insurance claims appraisers and image desk staffEnsures proper file documentation in Management Information Systems (MIS). Daily balancing and blueprinting of the appraisals in MIS for file closing.
