Job summary

Assured Automotive in Ontario is seeking a Detailer to prep and clean vehicles for delivery, supporting a high-volume collision and glass service operation. You will wash exteriors, polish, vacuum interiors and help keep the shop area orderly while meeting daily KPIs.

We offer competitive pay from $17.95 to $22 per hour, benefits after one month, RRSP matching, vacation time and ongoing training. This role provides career growth within a professional atmosphere and supportive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Cleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or washing equipment.

• Buffs and waxes to protect vehicle finishes.
• Vacuum, shampoo and clean vehicle interior; assist with stain removal.
• Keep shop clean by sweeping and emptying trash daily.
• Maintain a clean, organized parking lot at all times.
• Power wash shop floor as needed to improve cleanliness.
• Organize vehicles in the lot; support WOW plan for quality and productivity.

Job Description

The Detailer pre-washes vehicles prior to moving them into production, and cleans and details all assigned vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer. The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Cleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Protects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxes
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
• Shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers
• Maintain a clean and organized parking lot at all times
• Power wash the shop floor, (to reduce appearance of dirt) as required
• Maintain and organize the vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO Signs)
• Responsible for the consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. This role directly contributes to the shop's efficiency and a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Effectively work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking abilities while working under pressure

Other Requirements Travel, Physical Requirements, Etc.

• Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materials
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation

Compensation Details:

$17.95 - $22 per hour
