Job summary

Assured Automotive in Canada is seeking a Detailer to pre-wash and prep vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship across collision and glass services. As part of The Boyd Group, we offer training and opportunities to advance your career while supporting your team with competitive compensation.

The Detailer will clean exteriors and interiors, maintain a clean shop, and contribute to KPIs while working with a collaborative team in a network of Western and Central Canada locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Protects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxes.
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required).
• Shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized parking lot at all times.
• Power wash the shop floor, as required to reduce dirt appearance.
• Maintain and organize vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO Signs).
• Responsible for WOW plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Job Description

The Detailer pre-washes vehicles prior to moving them into production, and cleans and details all assigned vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer. The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. This role directly contributes to the shop's efficiency and a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Effectively work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking abilities while working under pressure

Other Requirements Travel, Physical Requirements, Etc.

• Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materials
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation

Compensation Details:

$17.95 - $22 per hour

Compensation Is Commensurate With Skill, Education And Experience.
