Job summary

Assured Automotive is seeking a Detailer to pre-wash and detail vehicles before delivery. The role supports a fast-paced collision repair operation within The Boyd Group network, emphasizing quality workmanship and team collaboration.

You will clean interiors and exteriors, assist with shop cleanliness, and strive for high net promoter scores while maintaining safety and efficiency. Medical, dental, vision, RRSP match, and paid vacation are provided after a brief period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Protect and preserve exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxes.
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior.
• Maintain a clean and organized parking lot and shop area.
• Power wash the shop floor to reduce visible dirt and debris.

The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesCleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipmentPolish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior bodyProtects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxesVacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)Shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containersMaintain a clean and organized parking lot at all timesPower wash the shop floor, (to reduce appearance of dirt) as requiredMaintain and organize the vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO Signs)Responsible for the consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
