Auto Body and Collision Technician Apprentice 310B

Join our team as an Auto Body and Collision Technician Apprentice 310B at E.S. FOX LIMITED.

Position Overview

Located in Niagara Falls, ON, the successful candidate will assist in repairing and restoring damaged motor vehicles, including safety functions, using various tools and equipment, surface preparation, refinishing, and servicing mechanical and electrical systems under the supervision of a senior technician.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform safety-related functions.
  2. Utilize tools, welding equipment, and related tools effectively.
  3. Organize tasks and document work as required.
  4. Apply corrosion protection and sound deadening materials.
  5. Remove and install vehicle components including trim, glass, and structural parts.
  6. Inspect and prepare vehicles for repair.
  7. Service SRS and other electrical systems.
  8. Perform surface preparation and refinishing.
  9. Clean and detail vehicles.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Enrollment in the Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer (Technician) Apprenticeship Program (310B) or relevant experience.
  • Experience in auto body repair or as a mechanic is an asset.
  • Welding and environmental safety training are assets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
