Job summary

Arlington Auto Body Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles and restore panels and frames. You will plan repair work, provide professional customer service, and conduct test drives to ensure safe handling.

The role requires 3–5 years of auto body experience, English language proficiency, and an appropriate trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent experience). On-site work at the shop with relocation flexibility if needed.

• Other trades certificate/diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work to be performed.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling.
• Clean and maintain the work space.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
