St.Amant is seeking energetic tutors to work with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Winnipeg, delivering individualized learning activities in community settings such as childcare centres or family homes. Qualifications

As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. Qualifications:

• Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification

Assets:

• Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
• Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program
• Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
• Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities
