About YOU

ROCK is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, offering opportunities to work directly with families in real-world environments. In this role, you will design and implement behavior programs to enhance clients' quality of life, working under the supervision of the Manager of Autism and Behaviour Services and the Clinical Supervisor (Registered Behaviour Analyst), ensuring services align with ABA principles and science.

As an Autism Therapist, you will collaborate with the team, other disciplines, and families via virtual platforms, in-center, classroom, home, or community settings. Responsibilities include data collection, documentation, preliminary data analysis, training others using the BST model, and working with Peer Support Providers.

The ROLE

As an Autism Therapist, you will support children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Dual Diagnosis using Progressive ABA approaches and Neuro-affirming care practices. You will apply ABA principles to support communication, social skills, daily living, behavior management, play, leisure, and vocational skills.

You will deliver individualized and group interventions under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A. Ont). You may conduct collaborative sessions with other ROCK service providers as needed. Flexibility in work schedule is required to meet client and family needs.

Client safety is a priority; you will adhere to policies and report incidents. You will support client-centered care in line with ROCK’s principles.

Please note: This is a casual contract position ending March 31, 2026.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Preference for a postgraduate diploma in Behavioural Sciences (e.g., Behaviour Sciences and Technology, Autism and Behaviour Sciences).
  • Preference for pursuing a master’s degree in ABA.
  • At least two and a half years of ABA experience with children and youth up to age 18, supervised by an R.B.A. Ont.
  • Experience working with children with communication challenges, social skills needs, daily living challenges, play and leisure, vocational skills, and challenging behaviors.
  • Experience collaborating with families in family-centered practices.
  • Experience delivering both group and individual ABA interventions.
  • Workshop facilitation experience is an asset.
  • Training in Project ImPACT and/or Naturalistic Developmental Behaviour Interventions is an asset.
