Job Title: Auditor - Intermediate/Senior Level

Location: Montreal, QC
Job Type: Permanent
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, including Thursday)

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000/yr
Our client in Montreal, QC is actively looking for an Auditor (Intermediate/Senior Level) to join their team.

Position Description:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises.
  • Auditing financial statements of business clients as a Senior Auditor and being the lead on mandates (Available for seniors ONLY)
  • Providing accounting and tax compliance services to private clients for compilation and review engagements
  • Preparing personal tax returns and trust returns for clients
  • Communicating effectively with clients, government agencies and with partners and staff
  • Providing guidance and training to other staff members
  • Identifying issues and opportunities
  • Assisting with special mandates such as valuation estimates, due diligence work, business investigations, accounting for corporate reorganizations, etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting, including audit & assurance
  • CPA designation (or in the process)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational (attention to detail), leadership and client relation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel needs to be at least at intermediate level)
  • Experience with CaseWare and Tax Prep is an asset
  • Bilingual
