Responsibilities
  1. Identify and Support Claims:
    • Perform audit procedures including data and document analysis received from clients and their suppliers, assessing for accuracy and appropriateness.
    • Communicate audit results clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, to internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
    • Manage multiple audit engagements independently, ensuring timely progress.
  2. Effectively Utilize Audit Tools:
    • Proficiently use audit tools like MS Excel, IDEA, etc., performing data mining and analytics to verify billing accuracy and support claims.
  3. Meet or Exceed Standards/Guidelines for Productivity and Quality:
    • Maintain strong project management to meet goals and ensure high-quality work, including self-review and peer review.
  4. Prepare Audit Reports and Communication:
    • Draft and issue audit reports, summarizing activities and findings, and communicate results effectively.
  5. Review Contract and Client Transactions:
    • Review contract language to identify key financial provisions and verify supporting records for invoicing.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Participate in team training, learn new analytic tools, and accept constructive feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.
  • 2-4 years experience in accounting, auditing, or data mining, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Certifications like CPA, CFE, CIA, etc., are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data mining, and analytical tools; self-starter with strong project management and communication skills.
Work Location/Travel
  • Primarily remote; must reside in the continental US.
  • Limited travel may be required.
Additional Requirements
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a secure home office setup with reliable high-speed internet.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $58,000 - $70,000/year, with a 20% discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid leave, holidays, and PTO.
