Audit Senior - Qualified or Part Qualified

Description: Audit Senior - Qualified or Part Qualified job opportunity based in Stevenage

We are looking for an Audit Senior to join this vibrant Stevenage office Audit team. The purpose of this role is to play a key part in the audit team, ensuring that audit planning, fieldwork, and completion are performed to a high standard, ultimately enabling the firm to sign audit reports. This firm offers a dynamic and rewarding environment with exposure to a diverse range of clients and industry sectors. Work-life balance is part of their organizational culture.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning, execution, and completion of audits, reporting to audit seniors and managers for lower risk audits.
  2. Preparation of accounts, reports, and other assignments as required.
  3. Coordinating planning with clients, including liaising with relevant departments within the firm.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience leading external audit assignments from planning to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing.
  • Experience preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.
