Job Description

Department Overview: Our team of trusted audit professionals interacts with every part of the Bank to provide strategic guidance and independent oversight. We help mitigate potential risks to our business through due diligence and integrity, safeguarding TD's reputation and governance.

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Sector: Audit

Salary Range: $91,200 - $136,800 CAD

Position Summary

The QAIP team develops and executes the annual QAIP plan, aligning strategies with regulatory expectations and industry standards. As an Audit Manager II, you will oversee complex audits across multiple business groups, manage relationships with business lines, and deliver audit analysis, reports, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on complex audits, risk assessment, and planning.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the audit program.
  • Lead audit activities, ensure follow-up on findings, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Manage communication and reporting with clients, management, and auditors.
  • Guide teams in designing, testing, and implementing audit initiatives.
  • Identify issues, provide guidance, and escalate non-standard issues.
  • Stay updated on regulatory trends and recommend improvements.
  • Foster a positive, diverse, and efficient work environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional certifications (CIA/CPA preferred; additional designations like CAMS, CFE, CFA, FRM, CRMA are assets)
  • 7+ years relevant experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or related fields within financial institutions
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, risk, and change management
  • Proficiency in software tools, data analysis, and reporting
  • Leadership skills, negotiation, and influence abilities
  • Discretion and sound judgment
  • Effective communication skills in oral and written English
