Job Description

Department Overview: Our team of trusted audit professionals interacts with every part of the Bank to provide strategic guidance and independent oversight. We help mitigate potential risks through due diligence and integrity, focusing on all bank businesses. Safeguarding TD's reputation depends on us. We provide recommendations to enhance operational performance, ensure adherence to regulations, and mitigate risks, helping keep daily operations smooth for customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in planning and executing audits based on established plans, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead audit planning, risk assessment, and program development to mitigate risks and improve effectiveness.
  • Support audit opinions and present findings and recommendations to clients and management.
  • Manage follow-ups on audit findings from regulatory and internal audits, ensuring data accuracy and documentation.
  • Identify internal process failures and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and techniques to deliver quality results within deadlines.
  • Act with integrity, observe regulatory guidelines, and handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encourage open communication, and maintain good team relationships.

Job Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a strong asset.
  • Knowledge/experience in Liquidity and Capital/Market risk is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and internet applications.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, guide team members, and build good relations across teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction in a dynamic environment.
