This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates to staff similar positions, at the same group and level, with various security requirements, various tenures (indeterminate, specified period, deployment, acting, casual employment, part-time worker, assignment and secondment), with various linguistic profiles and various locations across Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology, or statistics.
• Courses in one or more of the following areas:
- Economics, Sociology, or Statistics
- Accounting, Audit, or Maths
- Science field ranging from Computer, Data, to Social
• Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Experience in research and analysis in one or more of the following areas:
1. internal audit
2. program evaluation
3. strategic planning
4. qualitative or quantitative data analysis
5. policy analysis of socio economic, demographic or environmental issues

Experience assisting with preparation of reports for presenting research or analysis findings

Experience using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working in the Canadian Agricultural sector or federal government

Experience with data production and analysis using analytical and statistical tools, ie (SAS, SPSS, Python, Power BI)
