Davidson & Company is currently seeking Associates to join our Public Company Audit practice starting in January, May and September 2026.

What You’ll Do

  1. Develop and apply technical skills in public company audit, IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards in a wide variety of industries.
  2. Obtain and assess appropriateness of audit evidence obtained throughout the audit engagement.
  3. Work alongside a team of 5-10 individuals with varying levels of expertise across different industries, requiring you to take on different responsibilities depending on the engagement.
  4. Review, investigate and take part in resolving audit issues.
  5. Work closely with clients and collaborate in consultative meetings.
  6. Learn valuable skills to grow your career in Audit and prepare for the CPA program.

What You'll Bring

  1. Completion of an undergraduate degree, including the pre-requisites for admission into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) upon completion of employment.
  2. Intention to pursue the CPA Designation (Audit path).
  3. Previous accounting experience is considered an asset.
  4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Experience with Caseware is considered an asset.

Salary

At Davidson, we value consistency and transparency regarding compensation. The annual salary for this position is $55,000.
