Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a qualified professional to conduct and support audit engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in line with regulatory standards. You will streamline year-end processes for diverse clients and foster strong client relationships, while maintaining open communication with the team.

The role requires a CPA designation (in progress or completed), at least 1 year of public accounting audit experience, and familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP.

• CPA designation completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries.
• Foster positive working relationships with clients, and promptly address their requests and suggestions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
