Job Title: Audiovisual (AV) Producer

SW Event Technology & Showtime Event & Display in Kelowna, BC, is seeking an AV Producer to oversee audiovisual production projects, including live events, video production, and multimedia presentations.

Qualifications

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years in audiovisual communications technologies or related field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Determine scheduling, scope, and treatment of production projects.
2. Supervise staff or teams involved in production.
3. Plan and organize artistic and technical aspects of production, including lighting, camera angles, and backgrounds.
4. Set up and operate audiovisual equipment.
5. Manage budgets, costs, and project timelines.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues during production.
7. Coordinate with clients to discuss requirements, costs, and timelines.
8. Ensure quality control and establish policies and procedures.
9. Supervise technical staff and assign tasks.
10. Prepare and edit video recordings post-production.
11. Operate audio consoles, microphones, and sound processing equipment at live events.
12. Schedule and coordinate events, programs, and activities.
13. Operate multimedia transmission equipment, including video conferencing and broadcasting systems.

Supervision

• Supervise teams ranging from 1 to 15 people.

Experience and Skills

• Experience in reports, records, and live concert production.
• Valid driver’s license for transportation/travel.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Client-focused, multitasking skills, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
