Job summary

National Hearing Services Inc. dba Connect Hearing Canada is seeking an Audiologist (NOC 31112) to join their Winnipeg team. The role involves counselling, comprehensive audiological assessments, fitting and adjusting hearing devices, and ongoing patient care.

A Master’s in Audiology and Manitoba certifications are required. The position is permanent, full-time (35 hours/week) with on-site work at 790 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, and offers paid vacation, personal days, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in audiology is required.
• Certificate of practice as an Audiologist in Manitoba is required.
• Valid Hearing Aid Dealer Certificate in Manitoba is required.
• Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and education to patients regarding hearing loss and available treatment options.
• Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and hearing loss evaluations using specialized equipment for new clients, analyze test results and recommend individual best-fit solutions.
• Select, fit, program, verify, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
• Ongoing audiological care for existing clients to monitor progress.
• Conduct verbal and written correspondence related to client care with clients, their families, physicians, team members, and third-party payees.
• Collaborate with other specialists and professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain clinical records and prepare reports regarding assessments.
