Job summary

HearingLife Canada is seeking a licensed audiologist to provide comprehensive hearing healthcare in our clinics. You will perform audiological assessments, recommend assistive listening devices, and evaluate and fit hearing instruments, with regular follow-ups and cerumen management as needed.

Additionally, you will provide counselling and aural rehabilitation, and assist with ENT diagnostics when applicable. Join a team focused on client-centred care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Audiology or equivalent certification.
• Registered with Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists or professional associations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to work in a collegial team.

Responsibilities

• Complete audiological assessments.
• Assistive Listening Device recommendations.
• Hearing instrument evaluations.
• Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing.
• Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks.
• Cerumen management (if within scope of practice).

• Maintain professional credentials and continued education.
• Supervise or mentor students and new staff.
• Presentations to community groups in HHC region.

Professional Duties

• Maintain professional credentials and continued education
• Supervise or mentor students and new staff

Hearing Healthcare Centre Regional Support Duties

• Presentations to community groups in HHC region
• Participation in Company marketing initiatives

What You Will Need:

• Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing practitioner Certification
• Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists or professional associations
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collegial team
