Job summary

HearingLife Canada is seeking a licensed audiologist to deliver comprehensive hearing healthcare services across client journeys. The role involves testing, fittings, follow-ups, and counselling to improve patient outcomes.

The candidate should hold a Master’s Degree in Audiology, be registered with the provincial college, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills within a collaborative team. This is an on-site opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing practitioner Certification is required.
• Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists or professional associations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a collegial team.

Responsibilities

• Complete audiological assessments.
• Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing.
• Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks.
• Cerumen management (within scope).
• Counselling and aural rehabilitation.
• Diagnostic testing for ENT (if applicable).

How you will Make an Impact:

Reporting to our Regional Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent client care demonstrated by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Complete audiological assessments
• Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing
• Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks
• Cerumen management (if within scope of practice)
• Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation
• Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable)

Professional Duties

• Maintain professional credentials and continued education
• Supervise or mentor students and new staff

Hearing Healthcare Centre Regional Support Duties

• Presentations to community groups in HHC region
• Participation in Company marketing initiatives

What You Will Need:

• Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing practitioner Certification
• Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists or professional associations
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
