Job summary

HearingLife Canada is seeking a qualified audiologist to join our team in Calgary. You will conduct audiological assessments, recommend Assistive Listening Devices, evaluate and fit hearing instruments, and provide ongoing client support.

The role requires a Master’s in Audiology, registration with the provincial college, and strong interpersonal skills to work within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing practitioner Certification.
• Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists or professional associations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a collegial team.

Responsibilities

• Complete audiological assessments.
• Assistive Listening Device recommendations.
• Hearing instrument evaluations.
• Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing.
• Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks.
• Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation.
• Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable).
• Maintain professional credentials and continued education.
• Supervise or mentor students and new staff.
• Presentations to community groups in HHC region.
