Job summary

HearingLife Canada is seeking a qualified hearing healthcare practitioner to join our Kingston, NS team. You will conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, recommend assistive listening devices, and perform instrument fittings to support clients on their hearing journeys.

Collaborate with healthcare teams, mentor staff, and engage with the community through ongoing education and outreach. A strong patient-centered approach and professional licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Specialist Certification.
• Registration in good standing with the applicable Provincial College or professional association.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive audiological assessments.
• Recommending Assistive Listening Devices.
• Performing hearing instrument evaluations and fittings.
• Providing ongoing client follow-ups and instrument checks.
• Cerumen management (if within your scope of practice).
• Offering counseling and aural rehabilitation.
• Conducting diagnostic testing for ENT specialists (if applicable).
