A day in the life of a Hearing Care Professional involves:

  • Morning huddles with the team to connect, celebrate wins and set the stage for exceptional care
  • Meeting interesting people in our community who are pre-educated and ready to treat their hearing loss and/or tinnitus
  • Establishing a rapport with new patients to put them at ease using proven methods of engagement
  • Using active listening techniques to understand pain points and establish yourself as an empathetic authority
  • Conducting comprehensive hearing healthcare assessments to understand the extent of damage in the auditory system and its impact on hearing, cognition and overall health
  • Establish yourself as a trusted authority by communicating the results and making strong recommendations for treatment
  • Developing customized treatment plans to address the patient’s specific needs
  • Ongoing care and education for your existing patients to ensure continued use of treatment technology improving confidence, relationships and maintaining independence
  • Accurate documentation of communications with patients, their family and other healthcare providers to ensure all team members are familiar with the patient and able to assist them
  • Ending the day feeling fulfilled knowing you made a difference in the lives of your patients
