As an Audiologist, you will work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will be responsible for screening, identifying, assessing, and managing patients with hearing and balance (vestibular) disorders. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be important for supervising students and providing clinical guidance to staff. You will use your expertise to inform program development and planning. You will interpret findings, counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and balance issues, and establish intervention plans to manage and reduce functional impacts. You will provide information and recommendations to patients, families, and professionals, and make referrals as needed.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Audiology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
