Job description

What success looks like in this role:

  • Serves as a Field Engineer with a specialty in Audio Visual support for large, complex clients and across the range of company products and services.
  • Develop support processes and maintenance checklists in conjunction with the client IT, real estate, and property management teams.
  • Capture and maintain equipment inventory data.
  • Perform daily inspection of conference rooms to ensure equipment is functional and required accessories (e.g., cables, connectors, etc.) are available.
  • Monitor ServiceNow ticket queues established for capturing AV requests and issues.
  • Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of A/V devices.
  • Communicate with Client facility management and device OEMs as required.
  • Perform A/V and conferencing software set-up support prior to scheduled meetings.
  • Provide user support during meetings.
  • Log work activity via Client ServiceNow ITSM.
  • Provide monthly reports including a summary of known conference room issues and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and conference room performance.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials for all AV rooms.
  • Assist with new equipment installation and configuration as appropriate.
  • Coordinate activities with the client LAN/Campus team responsible for client AV.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • May require technical certification or Associate Degree.
  • Generally, 4-6 years’ experience in area of responsibility.
