We are seeking a motivated team member to join our Parts Department for our Audi Mississauga Airport location. Key Responsibilities:

As Junior Parts Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and parts knowledge. You will take orders over the phone and in person, proactively assist customers browsing in the store, as well as arrange for special delivery needs for customers. You will efficiently find ways to search parts that are not kept within the store and strive to enhance sales by offering excellent customer service and providing information about add-ons. Your energy, self motivation, and desire to grow your career will make you the ideal candidate for this position. This is an entry level position with learning and training to develop into a Parts Consultant capacity.

Duties:

  • Handle telephone inquiries, providing quotations and receiving orders for retail and wholesale clientele.
  • Assist in preparing detailed invoices and customer statements.
  • Assist in maintaining the inventory and cleanliness of the store.
  • Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
  • Receive and put away all incoming morning stock/daily order shipments. Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
  • Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
  • General housekeeping of the parts department area including stock room, Boutique areas.
  • Parts stock bin checks, reporting discrepancies to the parts manager
  • Parts bin maintenance, including updating supersessions, bin locations and labels
  • Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager.
  • Assist to supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
  • Must be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
  • Work in partnership with Store Managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
  • Deliver/pick orders as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What you bring to the role

The key skills and qualities of a Junior Parts Consultant:

  • Post-secondary or college courses or equivalent relevant dealership industry experience.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Valid Driver's License, good driving records and Driver's Abstract.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in Retail sales preferred.
  • Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Good verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 80lbs occasionally.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
