Responsibilities

• Support auction yard operations by checking in, staging, tagging, and releasing equipment.
• Safely operate light and heavy equipment as trained and certified.
• Assist customers on-site and provide sale-day support (shuttle driving, cart driving, etc.).
• Maintain site cleanliness and perform janitorial/groundskeeping tasks and operate support vehicles.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance and report hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with yard management, operations, and inspection teams for seamless events.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement while upholding company values.

This role supports the successful execution of auctions and daily site operations. Crew Members work across a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to equipment handling, customer service, driving, site upkeep, and auction-day support. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and customer experience while performing duties that ensure our auctions run smoothly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (class requirements may vary by location/role).
• Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and following procedures.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate light/heavy equipment (training provided).
• Customer service skills with a professional, approachable demeanor.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during auction periods.
• Previous experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or auction environments.
• Knowledge of farming, construction, or industrial equipment.
• Certification in First Aid, Loader Operation, or other relevant safety training.
• Experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, service industry).
