Position: Attorney/Lawyer, Prompting and Content

Location: Remote (Canada-based, PST working hours preferred)

Our Client:

Our client is an early-stage legal tech company revolutionizing the way legal professionals interact with contracts. Their AI-powered platform allows users to upload contracts and query them using natural language prompts — streamlining legal analysis and decision-making. Backed by experienced leadership from both the legal and tech industries, the company is entering a high-growth phase and is looking for a sharp legal mind to support its client-facing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product demos to prospective clients, showcasing practical and relevant use cases.
  • Educate users on how to craft effective prompts and navigate contract insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate user feedback into product and content improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and content guidelines.
  • Serve as a legal subject matter expert to help contextualize the product for in-house legal teams.

Qualifications:

  • JD/LLB with 3–5 years of legal experience.
  • Substantial exposure to commercial contracts; experience in M&A or technology is an asset.
  • Strong grounding in private practice (preferably large firm) and/or in-house legal roles at large companies.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in legal tech, AI, and the future of the legal profession.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excels in client-facing settings and can confidently lead demos and discussions.
  • Has experience working in-house or closely with corporate legal teams.
  • Comfortable working remotely across time zones and adapting to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Based in Canada with availability to work Pacific Time hours.
  • Willing to travel to California quarterly for in-person team collaboration.
