Athletic Trainer

Mercy Clinic and ASC

Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Overview:

Provide services related to prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care, and rehabilitation for all active individuals and sports-related injuries. The goal is to maximize safe return to activity. Demonstrate professional development and responsibility within the field of athletic training. Perform related duties as assigned, in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an athletic training program from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure: Active state license or eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma for Athletic Training.
  • Certifications: Certification through the Board of Certification, Professional Rescuer CPR, or equivalent.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Capable of performing patient care, assessing data, interpreting information, and providing age-specific care tailored to patient needs.
  • Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Clinical and outreach athletic training settings; adaptable; willing to work occasional odd hours, weekends, and travel throughout the year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field preferred.
  • Certification: NATA certification as an athletic trainer preferred.
  • Experience: Some experience preferred.
