Ontario Christian is hiring an Athletic Director . Reporting to our Superintendent, the Athletic Director provides vision, leadership, and oversight to the K-12th athletic program. This role strives to develop a high achieving athletic program that places an emphasis on faith development and sport expertise in each student athlete. The Athletic Director will own the following areas :

• Athletic budget
• Hiring, leading, and evaluation of coaches
• Athletic policies and procedures
• Admissions support for student athletes
• Implementation of the school's mission and vision throughout athletics
• Liaison between the athletic department and the school community
• Development of athletes, spiritually, mentally, and physically

Requirements for this role are as follows :

Experience

• We are looking for a dynamic Athletic Director that can provide leadership to teams at all levels. This role supports a student body population of approximately 1,500.
• 3+ years as an Athletic Director or other related leadership capacity in a school setting.
• 5+ years coaching and / or playing experience.
• Experience supporting nationally recognized sports teams is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in physical education, education administration, sports management, or related degree.
• Related education in the Christian Faith.
