About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with clients and partners across various assignments
• Evaluate and interpret financial data and documentation
• Serve as the engagement manager on audit and review files
• Lead assurance teams, providing guidance to Senior Accountants and CPA candidates both in-office and on-site
• Manage workflow, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Support staff development and contribute to process optimization initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years in public practice, including experience in audit, review, preparation, and some compilation
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity within public practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BComm/BBA or equivalent)
• CPA designation is required

Skills and Competencies:

• Solid working knowledge of CaseWare, Tax Prep, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Spanish proficiency is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a knack for building rapport and effectively presenting services to clients
• High attention to detail and sound analytical thinking in both quantitative and conceptual areas
• In-depth knowledge of assurance and accounting standards
